Recently i've updated my software to 2.2. I've heard, that after update i will be able to connect to hidden ssid networks, but i still cannot do that. How to connect to hidden SSID WPA2-PSK WiFi network from Motorola Driod running Android 2.2 FroYo? |

Yeah, you're right android 2.2 onwards supports connecting to hidden SSID wifi network and we've tested it and confirmed. Most of the time the issue was due to incorrect SSID names (case sensitive), incorrect shared keys. So, i would check those to make sure no typo's. Still if it doesn't work, i would recommend to backup your current build and use a custom rom for e.g CynogenMod or CoreDroidRoms and see if that works for you. |
